Typical, small 18th C. Piedmontese country house, fully renovated, located in the Barbera wine-growing hills outside San Damiano, a small rural town between Asti and Alba. The house sleeps four, in addition there is a large double sofabed in the living room (on request, parties of up to 9 can be accomodated in an adjoining second house, also fully renovated). There are two double bedrooms downstairs, each with twin beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms. It can be used year-round. A swimming pool is being built, and should be finished by mid-summer 2011.
The location of the house is ca. 5 km from San Damiano, 20 km from Asti, 25 km from Alba and 50 km from Turin city. It is ideal as a base for family vacations, relaxing, tourism, walking, or exploring the Piedmont region.
